Terms of Service
The terms that apply to estimates, proposals, payments, scheduling and warranty on every project.

Quotes and estimates
In-home estimates are free and carry no obligation. Your written proposal sets out the scope, the allowances and the price, and the period it stays open is stated on the proposal itself.
Any figure discussed before we have seen the property is indicative only. Where opening up a wall, floor or ceiling reveals work that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand, we price it and obtain your written approval before continuing.
Deposits and payment
Work is booked with a deposit, with the balance due in stages set out in your proposal. Stage payments fall due as the stated stage is completed. Financing options are available and are arranged separately with the lender.
Cabinetry, stone counters, tile, fixtures and appliances are ordered once your selections and design are signed off. Because these items are made or ordered to your specification, amounts covering them are non-refundable once the order is placed.
Scheduling and access
We agree a start date and a build schedule before work begins. You will need to give us reasonable access to the property, along with power and water, for the duration of the work.
Where a delay is caused by permitting, inspection, supply or other circumstances outside our control, we will tell you as soon as we know and agree a revised date with you.
Variations
Any change to the agreed scope is treated as a change order. We confirm the cost and any effect on the schedule in writing, and it only proceeds once you have approved it.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is warranted for the period stated in your written proposal and in line with our obligations as a licensed Arizona contractor under ROC 280810 and ROC 327540. Manufacturer warranties on cabinetry, counters, fixtures and appliances are passed to you in full and are governed by the manufacturer’s own terms.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, ordinary wear, or work later altered by someone else.
Cancellation
Cancellation rights and any amounts retained for design work already carried out are set out in your signed proposal. Once orders are placed, non-refundable items are charged at cost.
Complaints
If something is not right, tell your customer advocate first, then write to info@teammariano.com or call the office on (480) 287-4096. We would always rather hear about a problem while we can still fix it.
